Welcome to the Wisconsin Formula Hybrid team's website. We
are a student run team at the University of Wisconsin -
Madison and our purpose is to build a hybrid race car for
an international competition in May.
2008 will be the second year of the formula hybrid
competition and the first year the Univeristy of Wisconsin
will be competing.
Our spting kickof meeting will be this Wednesday, February
13 at 5:30pm in 1106 Mechanical Engineering. If you're
interested in hybrids, fast cars or building them, show up
and see what we're about.
We are looking for people interested in working on projects
like:
Programming the Vehicle Controller
Design and install the instrument cluster
Work on the High Voltage DC system
Integrate the IC engine and electric motor
Test and work on the suspension
Lots of machining and welding
